Reminder: Please Report Spam and Dead Freebies

I posted not because folks were not reporting the spam posts but more as a reminder to new members that may not know that there is something that they can do when they see spam posts. You guys are all great about reporting them..none get by they all get reported. But the faster it gets reported, the faster we can handle them.

In order to maintain active Freebie deals it is important to make sure the Dead Deal threads get marked with the posting icon as soon as possible. The Freebie Mods need your help in doing so.

One of the main things you can do is to please include the expiration date if known in your thread title.

Also, if you happen across a Freebie thread that is no longer valid please report it. To report a post look for the report post icon that looks like this which is located on the lower left of each and every single post here at Hotcouponworld.
The Forum Mods also look over the links & will mark the Dead Deals as such when they are found. However since the forum has so many pages of Freebies posted it does take time.

Okay, hi everyone! I'm brand new in here so I hope I'm heading in the right direction. I don't know if this is spam or not but it sure makes me feel like it's a scam!! When I first logged in, there is a banner at the top of the page to get a free sample of Jif Peanut Butter. When I click on it, it takes me to a site called "Get it Free". Then I have to fill out a questionaire about "Average American". Then it says to confirm my email, which there is no place to confirm it. When I click the continue button, it takes me to the "Quality Health" site where I have to fill out a bunch more questions mostly about diabetes as well as my personal information. Then it bumps me into a question about going to the Doctor in the next 30 days and for what reason which just repeats over and over again and I never do get to the part to get the free sample of Jif...I'm baffled!! This all takes several minutes to go through and when all is said and done...there is NO freebie. I stumbled onto this site a couple days ago and thought " Wow, this is so cool..!!" I get bombarded by emails from coupon places, but for the most part when I go to get the coupons for the stuff they say they have, there aren't any there or they all have the exact same coupons available and they all seem to be linked together because it shows the coupons I do clip and the ones that have reached a limit. So, I'm hoping to eliminate 400 emails a day for coupons and narrow it to one really good coupon place. I did find one site that actually lists the coupons and actually really has them, but there are only a small amount (maybe 10). Okay, I've whinned long enough. Hope someone can give me some insight to this "extreme couponing" thing, cause I think my boat is sinking...
