Freebie ~ Educational Tutor.com for Military Families

My library subscribes to Tutor.com for our patrons, but I just found out that the Department of Defense pays for ALL military families to use Tutor.com - no matter where you are! If you aren't familiar with the service, Tutor.com offers one-on-one LIVE tutoring help from a real person via their online module. It ranges from Kindergarten through College in a variety of subjects AND has a writing center where you can get help with papers. Plus for adults, they have a Career Center where you can get help writing your resume (from a real person!)

It's really cool - so all you military families - get in on the goods! :D (Everyone else should check with their local libraries or take advantage of the free 20 minute trial they offer)

I love tutor.com - it's one of the best services I think we offer...all their tutors are super-qualified and go through extensive training - I've never heard a negative word from any of our patrons that use it :)

wow good to know. hubbys reclassing and is gonna be taking classes. And i will be starting colllege here soon! he was actually looking fora tutor a while back for his bsep class or whatever. Something to bring up his asvab score or something.
