Free Reusable Bag with any purchase today only (4/19) @ Target

Went today to pick up a few things, received a free Target reusable bag with my purchase, the cashier told me they are giving them away today only for Earth Week.

For those who got the bag, is it indicated on your receipt somehow? If so, I bet those who didn't get the bag could go back in the next few days and get your bag.

No, it's not on my receipt. They put my purchases in the bag. The free Target bags have $2 Target coupons for GE energy efficient light bulbs attached to them "in honor of Earth Day."

I was there today too. I had no idea about the promo. Hmm...maybe I'll have to go back in later this week and ask about it.

I got the bag, and it wasn't indicated on my receipt. For anybody who is thinking about going back to get the bag, just remember that they are only giving out limited quantities per store and no rainchecks so it might be a good idea to go back early in the week.

dude, I checked before we shopped today and EVERY register had the bags at them, so I thought I was golden. Checked out, had tons of coupons, all worked just fine. ASked about the bag since she was sticking everything into a plastic one...

Went to CS desk and was told same thing. Apparently free bags are only for people they like. Not me.
