I check site on regularly for movie screenings. I've found I can't count on them sending me notices. Most screenings are in metro areas.

I saw "Slumdog Millionaire", "Valkyrie" & "Batman" before they were released. Some we choose not to go not interested in some genres.

Reservations GO QUICKLY 1st come 1st seat & they always overbook. So I go early & stand in line. Give comments afterward so they come back to your town.

Don't just go by the city listing on the far right side. Look at the individual screenings lists (all 9 pages). There are other cities at other times. Just check the screenings & remember to recheck regularly. My area may have it in adjacent town or suburb or different theaters in region.

Has anyone tried Film Metro before? Are they legit? I don't want to stand in line for an hour and then find out that the tickets aren't valid.

Yes, I posted this and have gone to quite a few movies in the Metropolitan Milwaukee & Chicago area. I have even reserved a movie when we went on a trip to Orlando.

I have seen Slumdog Millionaire, Boy in the Striped Pajamas, Valkyrie, Day the End Stood Still. More just can't remember.

It's legit. It is first come, first serve. They do overbook, so we always get there an hour early. Stand in line talk, read. They expect people to give them honest reviews of the movie, plot, changes you'd make, soundtrack etc.

Thank you, enjoy the film. Remember arrive very early, so you don't have to seat in the very front or not even get in. If you had a good or bad time let us know. I can only go by my experiences.
