DD3 Free Revlon tools and Covergirl eyeshadow

The new green flyer has a publix coupons for 2.50 off any covergirl or queen item and 2.00 off any revlon tool or makeup. My Publix had revlon compact nail clippers for 1.49 (free) and tweezers for 2.49 (use a 1.00 of revlon tool from sunday insert). The covergirl eyeshadow works out to be free or nearly free with the 1.00 coupon that expires 11/30.

These coupons usually say they can't exceed the purchase price of the item.

The coupons can however be used with mfr for items that are over $2 for Revlon and over $2.50 for Covergirl. They shouldn't be used on items less than the value of the coupon.

It's the green advantage buy flyer. They have the yellow one for food stuff and the green one for hba stuff each month.

Does that mean the price of the item before the mfr q or after mfr q?
    Example:
Concealer is $2.21, does cashier adjust publix q down to 2.21 & then deduct the $1 mq or does she adjust it down to $1.21 because of the mq?

Is the green flyer considered a MQ? My publix would not let me use a Q from the flyer with a Q from the green flyer. I thought the green flyer is a MQ. :(

The flyers have some coupons that are MFQ and some that are store coupons. You can combine one MFC with one store coupon on the same item. You cannot combine two MFC's or two store coupons on the same item.

Stal1, do you mind telling me where in Florida you are? I'm in Jacksonville, Florida and my closest Publix that has always been very coupon friendly and customer oriented has recently gotten a new customer service manager. Suddenly, it's started being a royal pain to try to get rainchecks, and I'm starting to hear that junk about only one coupon per item when I'm trying to use a manafacturers Q and a Publix Q together. Whereas it really used to be a pleasure to shop there, it is now becoming a big pain in the butt. I haven't quite figured out what I should do about it. I'm not sure if I should go to the manager, who seems to be awesome, or complain to corporate. If it had only been one incident I wouldn't worry about it, but it's been going on for weeks, and all the bad attitude(and ignorance) seems to be coming from a large portion of the customer service staff-everyone else is great.

If anybody has any suggestions about the best way to handle this, they would be appreciated!
