DD3 Free Printer for Bussiness or Non-profit

If you have your own business or non-profit you might be able to get a free printer. You just have to fill out the application. Here is the web site:

On the surface, this sounds like a great idea. But when you get into the details, well. You are required to by the ink and printing supplies from the company for 3 years. This is no ordinary printer. It uses dry ink, 4 separate colors and each costs $99.99. You must print 2,000 pages a month and you are required to submit a usage report. If you fail to meet that you will be charged $100.

Yup. Not much free about this. The cost in the longrun would far outway the benefits of this "free" printer. I work for a non profit and looked into this awhile back. 2,000 pages a month is a LOT of printing. The cost of the paper alone would be a small fortune. And the ink is outrageous!
