I asked at customer service about the new savings booklet - the next one doesn't start until 2/1. I'm still sad about the coupon exchange bins being gone - thinking about asking on the FM wall about it. Maybe if enough of us ask, they will bring it back?

Thanks for the info, I will try again Wednesday. No one I talked to seemed to know, other than they heard someone say they hadn't come yet. I did see some of the yellow coupons in the toiletry area and they looked like they went most of February.
I say go for the wall thing. If they don't hear from us they will assume we are all OK with it. They have sometimes disappeared before, then come back slightly changed (new sign or something) so I've been hoping for that. They need to know most people are just trying to get by, and that's been somewhat challenging lately for a lot of people. Yes there are bad apples, and if it's the receipt thing, I've heard that happens at other store chains as well, so it has little to do with the coupon exchange. They might need to rethink their return policies, maybe not do returns in the middle of the store.

I asked today and was told they were coming out Wednesday. I was a bit annoyed doing the Mega thing today. I had my 10 items. Found some Quaker chewy/granola bars in the clearance bin for $1.49 and had the $1/2 coupons. I let my son pick out 6. I didn't know they were part of the mega thing, so I was short 4 items...didn't get the mega price for those 6. It makes it hard being in increments of 10. I prefer the buy 10 or more type things.

What FM wall are you talking about? I obviously haven't been there. lol

I think she probably meant Facebook.
In my experience FM clearance stickers don't work with mega sales or e-coupons. I like the way Safeway does clearance, because they scan the actual UPC, so coupons and deals work.

Oh sorry! I did mean their Facebook wall. I had to ask to get my extra savings booklet - a guy went to the back to get them. I'm thinking he didn't know that it didn't start until 2/1.

The Quaker ones did work for the mega. Four of them "took", which "voided" out the Hunts tomatoes. It was rather random at which ones it chose to take the mega price off of. There probably won't be any left if I make it back there tommorrow. Made some of them .50 a box with discount/mega/coupon. The kids all have a dentist appt. in the morning...all have cavities to be fixed, so should all just be a joy when done. lol
