Tip: The prices on some Mega Event items had changed or were no longer tagged. I discovered that if you use one of the price scanners around the store on an item you suspect is a Mega Event item, it will show a price and a 'sale price' that is 50c less. Other items only showed one price.

Check your loadable coupons on FM site. I found a $4/1 Viva 8pk paper towels today in there. I have some .55/1 Fresh Express salad tearpad coupons that I found at one of my locals. Also a couple of loadables for the FM brand .40/1 and a .50/1.

I had bought some of those sheets (the $2.97 ones....same price here...go figure) for my kids beds. They really aren't what I call "fitted", they just have elastic at the corners and don't stay real well. I refused to pay $17 for a set of matching pillowcases, though. So I bought another flat sheet and made some. lol

There was a Kleenex insert coupon this morning, but I don't remember exactly what it's for. So where are the Quaker oats coupons anyway? I am actually out of oatmeal. It's cheaper per ounce at the warehouse store for a big box when I don't have any coupons. It' s just that $8-$9 for a single item makes me cringe. lol

I've been waiting for a good fall Quaker sale someplace and decent inserts and it hasn't happened yet. The only coupons I have are from the Oct AY and only for 2 new flavors. My backup plan is a recipe using plain oats but I am not out yet.
There was a mediocre Kleenex coupon this weekend (50c/3) but I am hoping to find another one or 2 of the 75c/2 Cat coupons to make the up to $2 OYNO Cat deal maybe worthwhile. It was a Mega Events item last week.

I had found some Scott tp cats also a while ago, I think for $2/1. I only use regular cook-type oatmeal, as I think the instant is nasty. lol I should check out the bulk oatmeal...I forgot what the price per pound is. They don't have any big bags there though. Just the itty bitty plastic bags for things. I discovered yesterday that I'm out of coffee beans too. Ack. We use a french press, so grind our own in an antique mill. I used some Seattles Best preground french roast that I'd accidentally bought instead of whole bean.

Now I like strong, dark coffee, but I could only choke down about 1 cup worth and that was after I watered it down. lmao I used way too much.

I can't bring myself to buy any tuna other than Chicken of the Sea or Starkist. Many years ago (I think I was 17), I bought a can of I think it was Safeway brand store tuna. It made me deathly ill for days. It was maybe 10 years or more before I'd even touch a can of tuna again. That is one of the few things that has to be a national brand for me....and I watch the country of origin closely on that too.

The Best Customer Cat coupons have indeed started printing today, one good one I found is the 75c/3 Del Monte cans that's good on the 49c Mega Event can veges. They all expire 1/29/12.
I checked the Jell-O on the scanner and it looks like it will be 50c wyb 10, and I have a few of the $1.25/3 IPs.
C&H Sugar was a hot seller I got the last one on the shelf tonight. FM is generally pretty good at restocking thankfully.
I did get my Rewards in the mail today, I only got 4 coupons with it this time though, only 2 food ones, $2 off produce and $2 off frozen foods. There was also a $2 off toys and games and a 20% off apparel.
Jewelry Dept purchases now give reward points and gas rewards.

Got my reward thing today too. Same as you only mine were $3 and 30% clothing. Some of the best cust. cats I found are $1/1 Spice Islands product, $1/4 BE Steamfresh veggies, $1/10 cans Fancy Feast cat food, $1.35/2 Kraft natural cheese (shows chunk and shreds), .50/1 Orbit 14ct gum, $1/1 Ling lIng potsticker, egg roll or spring roll, .75/1 Blue Diamond almonds 6oz can or 8oz jar, .60/1 Floridas NAtural 59oz or larger, .50/1 Private Selection organic salad, .55/1 Challenge butter, $2/1 Purina One cat food, $1/1 Breathe Right, $1/1 Mio, $2/1 Natures Bounty, .50/1 Vita Bone 24oz.

Someone also threw their $5 Cars2 toy cat in there. Works for me as my youngest's birthday is Wednesday. I didn't get one when I bought the movie...don't know why.

Got some Starbucks beans today. On sale for $7.49 a bag. Irked me the coupons I had expired on 10/31. I got some for Millstone but it's $13.49 a lb. SO even dividing it inot 1/2lb bags it'd still be $9.48 a lb after coupons. lol If the Starbucks were 16oz instead of 12oz, they'ed be $9.92 a lb. Hmmmm.

I think the Blue Diamond Cat is dead. It didn't print today and the machine was working fine. There was an earlier expiration date on the actual Cat I got at Safeway (11/6/11) than the date the signs were showing at all the stores. For some reason I was thinking it was the 8th. It sucks too because they put the Nut Thins on sale for $2.
