Question on BOGOF
I have several buy one get one free reeses coupons. Meyers has a buy 3 get three free sale. I went there when I got off work, I got 12 reeses used 6 of my coupons, and I got them all for free. Then i went back later, and the best they could do was letting me use one of my coupons, and get 7 reeses for $1.66. Still a good deal at around $.23 cents, but from your experience, if a store has a buy three get three free sale, and someone has a BOGOF coupon, what should the end transaction look like. Thanks in advance

Re: Question on BOGOF
It varies by store, and sometimes even by cashier. Fred Meyer's policy is to not accept coupons on free items, so the second transaction would have been correct. As far as I know, though, there isn't a Fred Meyer in Kentucky. Did you mean Meijers? Meijers is different from Fred Meyer, and I don't have one near me so I'm not sure what their official policy is. Here is a link to the Meijers forum, so hopefully someone there will be able to help you out!

Re: Question on BOGOF
I've been using mine at Safeway, they are b2g2 free there currently. Haven't had any problems.

Re: Question on BOGOF
Don't know about your exact scenario, but I know I've been told at my Fred Meyer that I can't use 2 coupons on a BOGO sale, even if it doesn't make both items free. This happened to me when bagged salad was on sale buy one get one free. The salads all had $.75/1 peelies on them so I bought 2 and handed the cashier both peelies and the second one beeped when scanned; I was told I couldn't use them both because the 2nd item was already free. A little frustrating since other stores will let you use 2 coupons since they'll still get their reimbursement from the manufacturer, but other than that my FM is very coupon friendly.
