DD3 Fred Meyer - Cheap pork

This might be an Everyday Low Price item but ground pork is 99c/lb. Use the $1 off fresh pork coupons x 11/30/10 (found at Fred Meyer), I have found packages for just over $1. It's with the ground beef not the other pork items at at least one store.
But, I don't like the taste all that much, anyone have any good ideas for using this? Add spices and make sausage?

I would think it would be kind of interchangeable with any ground beef recipe....chili, spaghetti sauce, pizza topping....a meatloaf might be weird, though. lol I use ground buffalo or sometimes ground turkey interchangeably with any beef recipe. We don't (or exremely rarely) eat beef products.

Thanks for the great ideas, I was surprised it is so lean, it's like ground turkey almost, you don't get any grease come off it. I might try making meatballs in the crockpot too. I think Swedish meatballs combine ground pork and ground beef. I bet those cabbage rolls would work in a crockpot.
I like to cook ground beef and freeze it in freezer bags. It thaws quickly in the microwave and gives me a head start on dinner. So I think I will do that with some of the ground pork.

Made meatballs the other day with a package of the ground pork, 1/2 box Stovetop, 3/4 cup water and a dash of olive oil, cooked them for an hour in the oven at 350. I'm going to make more and freeze them.
