A few weeks ago I even had a manager come over to show the cashier how to override the coupon (clear-override-enter). I sent an e-mail to FM HO and am awaiting a reply for their coupon policy. I will post the reply when I get it. When I called HO I was told that she could not find it written in the policy about overages. Only that they will only take coupons that ring up the same amount as the amount printed on the coupon. i.e. if the coupon says it's .50 off and rings up $1 off then the coupon is not valid. You can also read into that and say that if the item is .99 and the coupon is for $2 off then they can only take off the amount printed on the coupon, in this case the $2. |
