FREE coppertone!

I just got back from Fred Meyers and they have a store coupon for $4.00 of any coppertone skin care product. (not sure of the wordding but its something like that) They also have the coppertone sticks for kids, babies, and sports for 3.99. They adjust their own coupon down and its free. I have not tried to use an insert coupon too. Wonder if it would work.

I have no idea where you are but the one on crater lake in medford told me I could only have one and I could not do any more transactions because it says one per purchase. I told him I would be back then next day and he said, "as long as I'm here, no you will not. You don't get anymore." He then told me he will not allow me to do "this." I was only trying to get two. Oh well. I'm kinda mad about it because he was so darn rude and said he didn't really want me back in his store because I'm SCAMMING! I just left without saying anything. But.... I wanted to say a little more then "something" The one on the other side of town let me have my other one and told me to go get more but I really just needed two. So i left happy.

It's a MF coupon. They don't have limits on them like the store coupons do. Sheesh. In the monthly coupon book it does say it excludes sticks and lip balms. So you can't use it on the sticks (whatever those are...I have no idea).

Crystal, I'd complain if I were you. If you were trying to use 50 of them, then I could maybe see him getting a little snarky, but not two. He obvioulsy doesn't understand purchase vs. transaction. I've not had my store try to limit me on any coupons. I rarely use more than 4 like at a time, though.

The coupon did not says " save $4.00 on ANY coppertone sun care product. It does not exclude anything. It does not have a limit. They are the yellow ones hanging by the product. My parents went and i told them about it and they got all 6 no problem. They went to the store I had problems with. I'm really mad about it now. They got 6 but I couldn't have two.

Wow! Sorry Crystal. I don't do a lot of couponing at Fred Meyers because they usually don't have the best coupon deals, but they are my local store of choice. I will go tomorrow and see how this deal works for me. Don't you hate store employees who don't understand how manufacturer coupons work? They are being reimbursed, for crying out loud! You would think they would want you to use them. . .it moves product! Sheesh!

ETA-I went today and used 4q's without any problems. It took some time trying to find the sticks, but I finally found them on the baby/diaper aisle.

Crystal, I'm also in Medford. Where exactly did you find the sticks at the N location? I just came from there, and I must be blind b/c I didn't find them.

Also, was the guy that gave you a hard time tall, kinda skinny w/dark hair? If so, I've had trouble w/him as well.

They were all gone the next day. they are with the sunblock. His name is Stephen D. He thinks he knows all. I called corp. and told them what had happend. they told me to go in and talk to joey who is above him. I did, and he told me that stephen was out of line and i could go back and get as many as i want, but there wasn't any left. (that was a one time deal because i was treated so poorly) He said normally he would only allow 1 or two a day but you can come back the next day. (opposite of what stephen had said) He would frown if you tried to clear the shelves or get as many as 15, which i wasn't. Anyway, i'm just happy i can go back to the store.
