Posssible QFC Fred Meyer advantage points crossover

The other day at Fred Meyer I asked the cashier if since the Fred Meyer gift cards worked at QFC , would the QFC gift cards work at Fred Meyer.
He said they might.But he also said that if one swiped ones Fred Meyer advantage card AND the QFC card the purchase at QFC might total up on the Fred Meyer advantage points.
I have not tried this yet, but I will soon, and post the results.
I am going to get a 300 dollar gift card at QFC to see if it will have a 330 dollar value AND works at Fred Meyer.

My cashier and I were talking about this to this weekend. I also got a email from Fred Meyers that might shed some light on it (was writting to them for a new FM card) but they said the accounts are linked by the address not nessicarly the card #! The card # is just used at the store level. She also thought that corp had recently linked the two together at there corp office.

My cashier said she had another customer try there QFC card and it worked.....showing her FM points balance on the bottom of the reciept. So dont know I havent tried it.

But I also dont know what address I used when I signed up for QFC, I know its diffrent from my FM card. I have religiously updated that one when I move as I get the rebate/coupons from them .

Yesterday I used a Kroger gift card at Fred Meyers with no issues. That might be an indication.

I have used the QFC gift card at FM for over a year now. QFC often has the $30 coupon for a giftcard when you transfer a new prescription. So I get the prescription and then shop at FM :)
