Food World ~ Other: FYI about Old McCalla Food World

I drove by today and saw that it's going to be a Piggly Wiggly soon!!! So excited for another grocery store but I've never shopped at PW. Do they typically have good deals? Catalinas or loyalty cards? In ad q's that we can use at Publix?? Thanks for any info!:)

depends, the one in forestdale doesn't have a cat machine but doubles to .99 - yeah!
each store is independently owned and they all have diff rules.
I have only found a few that will double at all.
Really crazy.
I have read in the forum where other states get cats.
I don't beleive any stores around us does the cats. I haven't heard any of the girls in centerpoint way mention cats either.

I hope we get doubles-it seems like they would want to compete with Publix and Target somehow. I'll update when I find out more.
