It should be noted that the Food World stores taken over by Southern Family Markets are running different ads. Go to the normal webiste, www.food-world.com, and check the ad for store #49 (Rainbow City). They will no longer use the Bonus Value Card. Their sales are now just sales. They do still double coupons, and offer a senior discount to those 60+.

ok, I am seeing 2 different ads. Everyone has the same except for rainbow city/pelham.

EDIT: WOW It has some of the same things just different prices.

I will try to do the 2nd ad for pelham/rainbow city and see how it goes. Hopefully all the stores will go to one ad before long.

I tried to look up mine online and it says my food world has chosen not to run an ad in my area this week....weird.

The stores that say no available ad are currently being converted to the Southern Family Markets system. As these stores come online, they will have new ads. Once they are all converted, they will use the same ad. I assume the grand opening will take place once all stores are converted. The most exiting thing is that they no longer use the Bonus Value Card! That should have happened a long time ago!

Where are you getting your info? Kind of interested in what stores are going to the new ad and which ones aren't.

The closed stores like gardedale, jasper, dora, forestdale, mccalla -
they all say that the ad is not available and have since the announcement for liquidation.
I assumed it was because those were the stores that didn't have a buyer.

So when ever I clicked on a store out of my area - I assumed it was the same.
After reading your posts I am confused.

afaik, the new owners don't participate in triples.
At least that's what I have read in my research online.

That's sad about triples....also I am liking not having to have a bonus card (I shop in pelham)...but went in today b/c it has officially changed to the new program. All I could tell was that the prices were mostly the same as before with less deals, in my opinion. All they seemed to do was put these signs up for "new price" but from what I could remember the price was the same as before.
