Well, nothing for me this week. I'm all out of rice coupons and that's the main reason I've been going to FW for the past few weeks--buying super cheap or free rice (depending on whether they're doubling or tripling) for the church food pantry.

Where are you getting your info? Kind of interested in what stores are going to the new ad and which ones aren't.

The closed stores like gardedale, jasper, dora, forestdale, mccalla -
they all say that the ad is not available and have since the announcement for liquidation.
I assumed it was because those were the stores that didn't have a buyer.

So when ever I clicked on a store out of my area - I assumed it was the same.
After reading your posts I am confused.

I worked for Bruno's until my store was closed, but I still have contacts who are working in the remaining stores. The closed stores should be removed from the listing soon. What is happening is that SFM is gradually taking over the 31 stores that they are keeping. As they take them over, they switch to the new ad. Bruno's will still run ads for the stores not yet taken over by SFM until SFM takes them over. Here is a listing of the stores to remain open. All stores on this list will eventually be run by SFM and will have their ads. Any store not on this list is closed and will not reopen under SFM.

I don't think they'll go to one ad...they will most likely stay separate. But who knows. At one time, we had both Food World and Foodmax stores in Calhoun County and Etowah County, and they just ran one ad with both logos on it.
