Food World ~ Question: Triples???

With a new company operating the Food Worlds, does anyone know if they will be tripling coupons again? I noticed there was no mention of triples this week or last week. The ad does say they double every day up to $0.50.

Anyone have any inside info?

I don't know for sure as I am no longer employed at Bruno's or Food World, but I seriously doubt that Southern Family Markets will continue many of the promotions that Bruno's and Food World have had. I expect the Bonus Value Card to be dropped from Food World stores, and for them to go to an EDLP pricing structure. This will save on the expense of printing ads. If the prices are low enough, it may work. But more than likely, they will fail. Southern Family and C&S, the parent company, have a horrible track record in retail.

Like the previous poster said, everything is up in the air. No word on the name - if they are keeping the same names, getting a new name, consolidating the ads...anything.
It's really the pits to not have the food worlds down highway 78 anymore. Off to Hueytown FW for ground beef and steaks.

Chris322 what is edlp prices? Is that just everyday low prices?

The cashier at my store said that they will be keeping the Food World name because of familiarity, but aside from that I know nothing. I sure would like some triples again, though!
