Just my luck I guess. I did get cats, just not the correct amts. I like the newer flavors like hydration, focus, metabolism, and the sunrise. I didn't get the $4 cat when I added a new flavor to the old ones.
It was a headache at jasper and hueytown to get the other money I was shorted on the cats. I kept getting $2 or $3 cats instead of my $4.

They wanted to argue about kool aid not counting for the free q,then they said the free coupon caused me not to get the cat. Hueytown kept taking customers around me.
I waited for 30 minutes the last time at hueytown for my $2. The situation made me feel like I was at wags fussing about a cat. Ridiculous.

Oh good grief! Its right there printed on the catalina what you buy and what you get. I hope "coupon denial disease" is not creeping into this area!!! There are enough hassles in life without having to take people by the hand and lead them into couponland.

WOOHOO!! I had my first big thrill in awhile at Food World tonight... LOL

I got 33 koolaids, 6 crystal lights, 3 kraft dressings and 2 wheat thins.... for a grand total of $12.04. $3.13 of that was tax. ($8.91 subtotal) I used all the free q's and earned back a $4 cat and a $5/$35 coupon.

Then I turned around and bought some meat. (didn't clip other q's) Between manager's "specials", sale prices and such I paid $30.93 for $54.20 worth of meats. I used the $4 cat and the $5/$35 and got another $5/$35.

I can't believe I waited so long to try this deal. Makes me sad I only have 2 more days of the crystal light cat.

Did ya'll see the Allen's frozen steamable vegetables 10/$10? Somehow I ended up with almost 50 of the .35/1 q's for them so I'm restocking the freezer with corn, some of the broccoli and cauliflower and I'm trying the Italian green beans. I like my green beans "cooked" like my momma cooked them but I'm thinking I might be able to cook these long and slow with some smoked ham hocks in them? Anyone ever tried to actually cook any of the steamable bagged vegetables instead of steaming them?

Oh, and I found a $5/$35 cat laying in an empty basket as I was leaving the store so I grabbed that real fast. No problems using the Kraft q's today but I did spend more oop than I have been because I loaded up on those frozen veggies, got some King's Hawaiian rolls and chocolate milk. This trip I got more non Kraft items than I have been getting and got frozen vegetables to share with my inlaws.

Darn it, I ordered more coupons and can't use them this week. Maybe they will be on sale next week too.

I love the allens steamfresh green beans. We do the green beans steamed then I nuke them about 10 more minutes with tony cacherie, sea salt, black pepper and olive oil. Then I drain them, cook them a few minutes with extra virgin olive oil. Yum, ds loves them this way.
I love them old school with ham and boiled potatoes, but get out voted.

I missed out on the crystal ligiht yesterday. Didn't have the energy to go to FW. Oh well maybe today. If not I still get free crystal light, just not the $4 cat. I only have enough to get 4 more cats anyway.
