Default 7/23 - 7/29 Some Good Deals This Week

I think Tina said at the luncheon that she was going to be laying in the sun and playing in the sand this week down in Florida on a much deserved vacation. Here are a few of the things I'm doing at FW this week. What good deals have you found?

.98 lb pork chops - I checked these out and they are those pretty pork chops like they had last time they were on sale. And even better, they are not packed in the mega size packages this time. If you can find them, there are $1 off any grilling meat wt's out there that make these packages of pork chops less than $1 each. Woohoo!

.39 lb Sanderson Farms chicken leg quarters in 8 lb bags. The bags are $3.12 each and those same $1 grilling meat wt's can be used to get some really cheap chicken leg quarters.

.99 red or white seedless grapes - I'm getting two bottles of Kraft Salad Dressing using the wyb Kraft tearpad and using the $1 off produce wyb 2 Kraft salad dressings and getting a free lb of grapes

Another $25 gift card when you transfer prescriptions. The only advantage to being old and sickly is that I get to move my prescriptions around and get these gift cards.

Grab some extra sales flyers this week. There is a q in the flyer for $3 off any chicken, turkey or beef item wyb 10 Rice-A-Roni or Pasta Roni side dishes. I don't have q's for the Roni's now but the sales q doesn't expire until 12/31/08 (it's a manf q) so I bet there will be something out there before the end of the year.

The Nabisco Cheese Nips at 3/$5 is a good deal if you have some of the $1/1 Nabisco q's left. And you can use the free Kraft cheese q, again if you have any left, when you do this deal.

Old Orchard Healthy Balance Juice $1.79 - I've got to check this one out because I think I might have a few q's that will make this .79 each.

That's what I'm getting this week. What are you getting?

I forced myself to go shopping today. LOL I got a bunch of stuff. Total before q's was $77.98, after q's was $12.38 plus they gave me a $4 oyno and a $5/$35 cat.

Be on the lookout for a closeout on Mrs Dash Teriyaki marinade. It is priced $1.52, there is a $1 q on the marinade and a $1 on your purchase of meat wyb the marinade which made it a money maker.

I got 4 packages of the .98/lb pork chops, one bag of the .39/lb chicken quarters, a package of hamburger and a package of Oscar Mayer hotdogs, 18 packages of Koolade, 6 Crystal Lights, Sara Lee hotdog buns, a bag of potatoes and onions. I got enough meat for 8 meals and leftovers for 3 people so that wasn't bad. I'm going back tomorrow or Monday to do it again while the pork chops and chicken are on sale.

Done and done! I used most of my coupons last week when the Bounty was $.79 a roll, thinking $.29 was a good deal. But I found some more for this week's sale. We now have 40+ rolls of paper towels. And the cinnamon rolls were a great deal--I only got two of them because we're trying to cut down on sugary snacks, but I couldn't pass them up altogether!

I spent $25.61 OOP on 2 loaves of Nature's Own Whole Wheat bread, 2 gallons of CV milk, 2 packs of Sara Lee Buns, 2 bunches of bananas, 1 bag of frozen strawberries, 1 bag of frozen peaches, 2 cans of cinnamon rolls, 10 rolls of Bounty Basic and a birthday cake for DD, and saved $24.25, which isn't too great but it would have been a lot better if I hadn't gotten the cake. Plus I got another $5/35 for next time.
