$5 promo and other deals HOT -- Food World is HOT this week!

Hey Bug, I'm gonna put up a little bit here, and you fill in the rest later. Not trying to take your job away!

Yall, I get impatient for the sale circular, and since their website is so wacky right now, I just got up and went over to the store to get the new one. I figure there may be someone else out there like me, who needs to know NOW, so here's the quickie highlights:

EGGS -- .99 cents. Southern Home one dozen. Limit 2 w/$10. purchase.

White Sandwich Bread -- .99 cents. SH, No limit shown in the ad.

Milk -- $2.99 Clear Value, limit 2 W/$10 purchase.

Get $5.00 catalina for each $35. you spend, this Wednesday thru Sunday June 22. (I think there may be a limit to two per day, I've asked about this when getting the bonus points. They said I could go through the line twice in one day to get one each time.)

The Bonus Saver booklet is now a sale circular of 16 pages, inside the regular sale paper.

One thing I saw that I'm going to load up on: VO5 shampoo at the ridiculously low price of 2/$1.00. That's cheaper than the Dollar Store.

Okay, that's just the highlights. If I got anything bass-wackerds, just overlook me.

I am thrilled! I also noticed shredded cheese 3/$6, and charcoal is $2.99 for 9 lbs. Plus, the store brand vegs are 10/$5--I am already thinking ahead to green bean casserole and corn casserole for Thanksgiving and Christmas with those!

I will have no trouble getting my total to $35 this week!

Oh, yeah! I'd be stocking up on those canned vegetables at this price. Casseroles and homemade soup, yes.

My refrigerator is still not co-operating, but I am learning to live out of a cooler.

Thinking I will concentrate on canned and non-food groceries for a while. Catfood. Plastic and paper. All of it is going to be high as the moon as time goes on.

I am in Mobile, Alabama and I need to know if Food World doubles coupons.

Could someone help me? If they do, when? Is there a certain time/day?

I made my very first coupon trip this weekend and went to Food World and no one mentioned doubling my coupons?

Not all foodworlds double. You will need to ask your store and they only double up to .50 with a bonus card. Competition and all that.
Maybe your store will start soon. Mama22qts - her store just recently started to double and she is close to the beach.

Hey guys,
wannabefree mentioned with Iowa's flooding that corn products would be a smart stock up.
I need veggies and eggs. Looks like a great week. I just hope this cat is $5 pre coupons.
Like everyone else on here it's hard to spend $35 after q's. I know every store will say after coupons even though the info doesn't specify.
I questioned the front end manager cashier at my store last night. He says this is something to scan and they may "forget" and we need to be on our toes to remind them to scan it.

In their ad two weeks ago, they announced that they were doubling coupons. I assumed it was all Food Worlds. I'm pretty sure that my local Food World did not double before this announcement.

I wonder if free item Qs count toward the $35 cat?

If they double, they've usually got big signs plastered all over the front of the store, and on the front of the sale paper that will be available. Each sale paper is for that specific store. Look at your cash register tape, if you kept it. Look at the bottom, and see if it has "extra coupon savings" and the amount. That is where the coupons are counted double.

If their crappy website will ever get straightened out, you can check your store's ad online, and it will tell you.

Food World here has been doubling coupons for years and years. They used to have a table where you could drop off ones you didn't need, and look through what was there to see if you could find anything you needed.

You'd think they would find it easier to be uniform in procedures throughout the network of stores.

Wannabefree, I don't get a paper, so I didn't know they had one in the Wed. edition. I get the Pell City paper on Thurs. and it has one, but by then its too late to order coupons. I hit it lucky this time, ordered some Sunday and have some I can use this time. The others are good to have for the regular priced things.

I remember when the Wednesday paper had coupon inserts in it, too. 'Course, that was long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away. ;^)~

Yes, mobile alabama food world's double.
This is according to the food-world.com website and the store locater showing me the ads for mobile. All 4 of the food worlds in mobile double coupons according to their individual ads. Each "area" ad can be different. I am in a dry county and my ads are different and so are the cullman store ads.

It is on the front of the sales paper at the bottom.
