My stores set the ads after like 6 pm, most all of the non24 hr ones do. - charmin is also included w the bounty and has a .25 q.

OK, I will say it.
This week is not good for me.
If it wasn't for the solo deal still going on - I wouldn't go in at all.
Do you guys see anything?

I'm with you...I'll go in for Solo and maybe the cat food but other than that, I don't see anything.

I appreciate that you posted the ads this week. For some strange reason, I didn't get them at all this week. I wasn't able to go out yesterday to grab a paper either because dh's blazer is in the shop and he has commandeered my car! No shopping here and it looks like a good week to have to stay home.

Does everyone get the same ad? Mine looks pretty good--$.59/lb whole fryers and Kraft mac. and cheese for $.49/box were at the top of the front page. I don't really need more chicken but I'm going to go grab the limit (3) because $.59/lb is about as good as it gets in my area anyway.

Yes,
different areas get different ads. My ad that comes in the mail is for a dry county and is always completely different from every one elses paper.

I try to do match ups based on the online ad for a major part of birmingham.
I saw the chicken and didn't think it was that hot, but after thinking about it, I guess it is hot. The mac and cheese also.

I will go back to putting the red box ads from the front page in the matchups.

Yeah, this weeks is kind of a letdown after last weeks goodies.

Still, I guess I'll go in and cruise around and see what's what. There may be something in the monthly Bonus Saver worth getting.

Wow -- week before last they had the whole boneless sirloin tip roasts for
$1.99 lb. I went in and got one and had the butcher guy grind it up into
hamburger. Regular ground sirloin was $4.99 lb. It made fantastic burgers!

Still have not been able to get to FW's website. They must have a problem
on their end. I can go to BiLo's site and get in, and sort of get an idea of
whats going to be on sale here. Still, its frustrating after all these years of
checking it out first thing at midnight to see whats on sale. (Yes, I'm up at
that hour, and longer!)

Dengineer, I'm thinking about the chicken, too. This time, I think I will cut them
up into pieces. Chicken is about to increase in price, as the growers are
going to have to start passing on the cost of feed. So far they've been
absorbing it, but they can't anymore. Have read on a couple of other forums
that it is about to go up. (What else is new, huh?)

I did the chicken deal and got 5 boxes of $.49 mac and cheese (5 was all they had left) and I also got 3 boxes of the vanilla wafers. I would have gone back for more chicken, but when I got home with those three I had to tape the freezer door shut because it is so full the door keeps popping open!
