There is a FL store that I rarely go to. It is on the way home from DS's school, the last time I went there, the manager gave me fits over some coupons, all legit, and I swore I would never go there again. This was last year. So on Tuesday I stopped there again, against my better judgement, but I wanted to see if there were any new coupons. I bought some produce and the Oreos, as well as a few other items. All the coupons were fine and scanned except for the produce one. The clerk had no idea what to do. She called over the asst. mgr.who was luckily someone who I have known for 18 years, and I was allowed to use the coupon but she told me that the manager (guy who gave me trouble last time) has forbidden the use of the internet coupons because "he is getting flooded with them". I wasn't aware that FL could deny their own coupons, but I won't be stopping there again. I shop at several FL's and have never had any issues. Oh, and the shelf price on something was wrong and I wound up returning it at a different store. All in all I should have followed my first instincts.

Leah, I just called my store and spoke to the NEW manager here.

He said they CANNOT refuse their own internet printable coupons.

For you to call Corporate with the store # and file a complaint.

If you don't get it resolved within 48 hours (new FL policy), then you call the store and ask for the district manager, tell them you have already been to corporate and take action there. He said if it still isn't resolved, for you to send me the info and he will file it for ya! ;)

He said with the new look and reputation they are trying to portray, this is totally AGAINST all policies they have put into effect.

Now he said they don't/won't accept other IP coupons, but they cannot refuse their own coupons with their logo.

I have not had a problem with IP's at my Foodlion.....you need to call Corp. Stupid manager, imo......
