Will there be a clearance sale for the closing FL?

I heard from a fellow couponing friend that her Food Lions manager said they will be going 50% on Wednesday....and her store was taking coupons also.

Everything was 50% off at my Food Lions in Knoxville TN today. I got $220 worth of stuff for $80. There was actually still quite a bit, except for diapers. :(

And I was able to use coupons, just not printed coupons.

Both of ours went 50% today too. It was very crowded and too forever to check out. Got loads of dog food, including the Purina One Beyond that I had coupons for.

Cool. They are taking coupons. I saw the sign on their coupon machine that they were no longer taking coupons. I suspect that it's only the FL coupons they are not taking anymore. Think I'll go back this week and see if I can pick up any coffee. Not much else I want, I think.

Well, I waited too long. Went to one FL yesterday. They were still 50% off. Nothing left in the store except some baby formula, a pregnancy test, some Raid, and 4 cans of Benefiber. Didn't even bother to go to another store.
