Food Lion Closes 126 stores within 30 days

Two Food Lions not too far from me are closing, but then again I still have 6 others within a 15 min car trip.

We are loosing our Bottom Dollar store as well. I am sad becasue they have some good produce prices.

Chattanooga, TN. All dozen in the area closing. Didn't shop there much as Bi-Lo doubles up to .60 and Food Lion always just seemed so "tired."

Well I just checked this list and my store right up the street from me is closing and the 2 in Murfreesboro right by my best friend's houses are closing as well. That sucks because that store was 1.10 mile from my house! UGH!

starting wed 1/18, fri 1/20, mon 1/23 food lion will be having a store wide sale.

Wed 1/18 the whole store will be 25% off.

Fri 1/20 the whole store will be 50% off.

Mon 1/23 the whole store will be 75% off.

and Feb 15 at midnight they will close for good thats the food lions in Jacksonville, florida.

I didn't know the trial had ended. Too bad.

If you mean the doubling of q's, as far as I know they are still doing the double MQ's, but it seems as if all of the doubling stores are on the closure list.

That is so true!!
Though I believe the only store that will remain open is the one in East Ridge.

Here the stores went 50% off on Wednesday. I went to 2 different stores this week. Wed. I went to one and then kicked myself for not getting more baby foods. (they had tons left, one of the few things left) Today I went to a different store and it was just about cleared out. Area here it doesn't look as if there will be much left to go 75% off.

For the Chattanooga, TN area, I THINK that the store in Chickamauga, GA is going to stay open. Not sure. I know there were 2 in the area not closing and East Ridge was one. I think Chickamauga is the other one.
