Food Lion GDA: 4C drink mixes - ends 7/6

Did this deal twice so far. At first store, coupon beeped. At second store, got two sets and first coupon went through fine, second coupon beeped. Just ordered 20 coupons of each so I will be doing this deal ALOT! Have a wonderful food-lion I will be going to when my coupons come in and stocking up for summer! I have been giving $1/1 first, I wonder if it would be easier to try the BOGO first? Has anyone done it this way? I've never had a BOGO coupon beep in conjunction with a $/$$ coupon.

Ugh. Went to FL today, and the cashier insisted on having it manually entered as 2.99 off (called a manager up to do it). I mean, I understand....but it really threw me off. I paid for them anyway, but went back in and asked for a refund. The manager said "But you got them BOGO." I politely explained I understand why they wanted to take the 2.99 off instead, but that was what the register has been doing for a year (taking off the full price), so they came out to be more than I planned....therefore, I wanted my money back. I was polite, but insisted. No way was I going to take them home at 1.50 a piece when I only planned on .60. Ugh. I doubt I'll try again at any other Flion stores. At least he got me the coupons back without my asking, though I don't know if I can use them again (2.99 was written on them).

Did this happen to anyone else?

I tried it today giving the BOGO first, and the $1 still gave the "must match previous purchase" error message. I can only assume that the BOGO is coded to attach to both items, which is why it did not give the error message until the 5th coupon (2nd BOGO) the first time I tried it. I am not interested in fighting over these coupons, I will save my energy for something that I really want.
