ok a little trick about eggs. eggs can be kept if the frig for quite sometime. one way you can test eggs that may have been in there for a while is to fill a pot full of cold water and put some eggs in it. if the eggs float off the bottom (one end will be at the surface like a bouy) then test one or toss them. if they stay on the bottom you are good to go! this is really to test how old they are and it will give you an idea on if they are about to go bad or not.

I have an ongoing egg supply so I don't really buy them from the store. but store eggs can already be anywhere from a week to a few weeks old when you buy them...but they should be good for a while after you buy them. just remember to keep them in the carton. the little egg holders in the frig is not the ideal environment for eggs because eggs are pourous and will soak up any odors in the frig and they will spoil faster.

ok just thought with all the eggs deals lately I would chime in on tips that maybe not everyone knows. good luck and happy shopping!

The SO laundry detergent is $1.99. There is a free and clear and a scented one. Makes it $0.49 with the FLIP.

1/2 Dozen eggs rang up as $1 for me so free eggs :)

Ack! You are right! It says $1.50/1 in the e-mail but it printed as $1/1. I didn't notice that till you pointed it out. :(
