3-8 oz cans hunt's tomato sauce--$1/3 flip
3 land o frost bistro lunchmeat--$1/1 q
2 juicy juice--$1/2 ip
1 pack chicken breast tenderloins
2 bush's kidney beans--.75/2 flip
1 md angus shoulder roast
1 mccormick thyme (marked down)--.75/1 q
saved: -18.50 with coupons
total oop: $16.73
here's the story on the pecans:
I saw the table in the produce section and the only sign on it said "16 oz bagged nuts $1.49 each" there were bags of walnuts, mixed nuts, almonds, and pecans. and I remembered I still had 4 of the $3/2 diamond nuts coupon!!!! so yay I finally got free pecans after all!! i get all of my stuff and I knew already that the coupon will beep because it's not coded for the pecans, even though it clearly says 16 oz pecans or walnuts on the coupon (not my fault if it doesn't specify shelled or not) so I told the cashier (that is blind as a bat basically and uummm knows the one I am referring to) that she will need an over ride for my coupons because they will beep. so with a glazed look she said okay and she rang up one bag and it said 2.99. I stopped her and told her the table sign said all nuts for 1.49. so she called the manager over and explained. but of course he needed to check and see...and yes I am in the right. so then she needed to do my coupons. we she entered all of the bags of pecans as grocery with out scanning them, so my coupons wouldn't have scanned correctly anyways. well the manager reads the coupon and looks at the packs and manually enters them in. so I got all 8 bags for free!!!
