Re: Food Lion 11/11-11/17 Ad Preview Trying to figure out the best combination for this coupon.
DH brought home Campbell's manufacturer's coupons with the food lion logo on them.
They were lying at the front of the store and picked them up out of habit, he's well trained. Anyway they are buy 6 save 1.00 on Campbell's gravy and cream soups, Swason broth or stock.
The ad has Campbell's cream soup BOGO reg retail says 1.19 and Swanson broth BOGO reg retail at 99 cents.
Okay so limit free is 2 on each. Now if I buy 2 of each the soup and broth, I will end up with 8 total cans. But I'm thinking it says BUY so maybe I have to actually BUY 6, which means I get 4 free due to the limit.
Or can I buy say 2 cream of mushroom, get 2 free, buy 2 cream of chicken, get 2 free because they are different flavors?
Even if its buy 6 and get the 4 free its a great deal.
2 * .99 = 1.98
2 * 1.19 = 2.38
Would be 4.36
Extra broth would be cheapest so 1.98 + 4.36 = 6.34 - 1.00 coupon = 5.34
I bought 4 cans of broth and 2 cans of soup so I got my 6 there, plus BOGO free limit of 2, so that's 4 free.
I get 10 cans for 5.34 total or 53.4 cents a can
If you do extra cream of soup would be 2.38 + 4.36 = 6.74 or 67 cents a can
I don't see anything else in the ad that would would with the coupon. There is no size limit, oz requirement on the coupons for the cans or cartons.
Because it says manufacturer's on the coupon I think I can not use a regular manufacturer's coupon with it. Is that right? |
