I am going to hold on to the cereal one too - a while back they put the chocolate kind (like Cocoa Puffs) on sale for $1 and it was free with a coupon just like that one! Not nearly as healthy as the free mini wheats from HT this week - LOL - but DS likes it!
Found something you had been waiting on tonight. In the store I saw two different FL cereals on sale for $0.69 each. Sugary but good for snacks if nothing else. It was in a special display near the registers. Two boxes of cereal for $0.38 would be a good enough price to let go of the q for me I think.
Hope this helps,

Today I got the Home 360 foil for 99¢ no beeps and the Duncan Hines cake mix. My total ended up being exactly $0. I was at a uscan and the machine to me I had to go to the cashier to pay. I quickly grabbed a piece of candy and went to the cashier. Once I explained what happened she LHerAO
I'm not sure what happened with the sales tax but I wasn't going to complain. I've noticed that several times lately I've only had to pay sales tax on my final total (after Q) not my sub total.

I don't know where you live, but here in NC you don't pay tax on store coupons. Only on mfr. coupons. So if both items you purchased were free with the FLIPs alone, there would be no tax.
