Food Lion ~ Question: Food Lion: Question on mq & store coupons

So, is it against Food Lion policy to use a store coupon and a manufacturer's coupon on the same item? For example, the Tropicana orange juice using their FLIP and the manufacturer's coupon also?

I'm getting conflicting answers from different stores and corporate so any insight would be very much appreciated! Thanks!!

it depends on the wording on the flip. some say can't be combined, but the ones from the past few weeks don't really say that. maybe phmom can help, she would know more on the subject

I have been told by some of my store managers that the policy from Food Lion says you can use one FLIP and one MQ together, as long as the FLIP doesn't exclude combining with a MQ.

Certainly.....there are several stores that you can use a store coupon and MQ together. You're ok as long as the store q doesn't specifically prohibit it. Can't wait to hear about the deal!

The "official" policy from FL is very very vague (and it drives me crazy - LOL) but basically you can use them together as long as "neither coupon prohibits it" - the FLIPs had wording on them, up until recently, that said they could not be combined with any other coupon. However, the most recent FLIPs do not have this wording. The best thing I can tell you is to read them each week before you use them and see if they have changed it again. For now, you can post about the deal as long as neither the FLIP nor the manufacturer's coupon specifically prohibits being used with another coupon. Is that clear as mud? Boy howdy, do I love FL's coupon policy - NOT!
