yeah mine beeped to, so she had to adjust it down to .89 cents.
I hit Food Lion on the way home and the $1/1 FL Pasta FLIP is beeping and needing an over-ride for the $.89 pastas (Spaghetti & Elbow Mac.) It's saying that the "minimum hasn't been reached." It isn't beeping on the other variaties that are over $1.00. The cashier pushed it through without batting an eye, but I'm sure not all will. I check with a friend in town and they said theirs beeped as well.
Just wanted everyone to be ready for it.

I got other stuff and the spaghetti and it didn't beep. Then I got the macaroni, also with other stuff, and it beeped, but they pushed it through.
My baby boy was born June 28, 2011!!
Mine beeped at one store, but it did not beep at another - bought the .89 pasta both times.
Doesn't beep for me on the .45 Macaroni and Cheese dinners. Works every single time...up to 32 boxes so far.
Unfortunately what you all are seeing are the real-world consequences of FL's newly revised coupon policy. From corporate's list of coupons NOT accepted, item #2 reads:
"a coupon that has a higher dollar amount than the value of the product."
FL never gave overage, but in the past they used to simply adjust the value of the coupon to match that of the product and the two would zero out. Now, they simply reject the coupon out of hand. It's unfortunate, because the competition doesn't take such a harsh stance and, speaking personally, it has driven some of my business straight across town to HT and Lowe's, neither of whom require that their customers jump through these hoops.
Hopefully this at least clarifies things, even if it's not particularly satisfying.
Another option is to buy whole wheat pasta which is over a $1.
No beeps.
Yes, it isn't free but whole grains are supposed to be healthier.![]()
bought 2 1 lb pkgs of spaghetti for 89 ea. used coupon for $1 so made 39 each ==then got 25 cents off each as FL brand so final cost 14 cents each.
