Here are some break downs on the produce that is on sale this week to go with the Flip we got this morning. I know you can purchase smaller amounts for some than what I have listed but I was trying to keep it simple.


Nectarines - $.99lb , regular 1.99lb , 3 pounds = 5.97 -2.00 coupon -3.00 MVP = .97 for 3 pounds!!

Cantaloupes - $1.50, regular 2.99 each , buy 2 = 5.98 -2.00 coupon -2.98 MVP = 1.00 for 2 !

Gala Apples - $1.49lb, regular 1.99 lb, buy 3 pounds = 5.97 -2.00 coupon - 1.50MVP = 2.47 for 3 pounds (not so great)

White Potatoes 5lb - $3.49, regular 3.99 buy 2 bags = 7.98 -2.00 coupon -1.00 MVP = 4.98 for TWO 5lb bags!

Red/Green Leaf Lettuce - $1.39, regular 1.79 , buy 3 = 5.37 -2.00 coupon -1.20 MVP = 2.17 for THREE

Cluster Tomatoes - $2.49lb , regular 2.99 lb, buy 2 1/2 pounds= 7.48 - 2.00 coupon -1.25 MVp = 4.23 for 2 1/2 pounds

Lemons - $.50 , regular .79 each, buy 7 =5.53 -2.00 coupon - 2.03 MVP = 1.50 for 7 Time for lemonade!

Vidalia Onions 5lb - $3.49, regular 3.99 buy 2 bags = 7.98 -2.00 coupon, 1.00 MVP = 4.98 for 10 lbs

Chiquita Sliced Apples - $2.00, regular 3.99 buy 2 =7.98 -2.00 coupon - 3.98 MVP = 2.00 for TWO

Baby Portabella Mushrooms 1.99, regular 2.89 , buy 2 =5.78 -2.00 coupon -1.80 MVP = 1.98 for 2 containers

Anyone know if there are any food lion ice creams for close to $1?

The Sundae cones were 2/$4.00 making them a buck each with the flip.

I am trying to decide if I am going to be brave enough to attempt the $1.69 Sherbet.

On the produce, are you sure they don't go by the sale price to equal your $5?

As far as I know - they go by the regular price for the $off coupons. I have used them in the past based on the regular price and they worked fine.
