I asked at my Food Lion this a.m, and was told that they have never doubled/tripled and have no plans to do so.

Well, I will cross my fingers! Bloom used to never triple either and KMart and Farm Fresh used to never double, but when the economy started going down, they had to make some changes to draw customers in. I will be prepared just in case. Thanks for the tip.

Well the rumor going around is that Bloom is NOT going to triple this month like they have been doing - something about they were going to try 'something different' this month - so *maybe* "something different" means they're going to try triples at FL instead. *crossing my fingers* There are A LOT more FL's around here than there are Blooms, so it would be MUCH BETTER in terms of actually being able to FIND the product that you're looking for....

Food Lion triple coupons CONFIRMED for Roanoke VA for June 19-21. 2 people on AFC have gotten the ad already. It may be only for a very limited area though as a test.

I'm told the "something different" is the "inhouse" coupon system they now have. You swip your loyalty card as you enter the store, and it prints coupons unique for you -- based on your shopping habbits, etc. The coupons are good for that day only - lol.

Blah. No good for me since I *only* make the trek over to Bloom during triple coupons. I'm certainly not going to drive over there just on the *hope* that I'll get a decent coupon that day. Blah. LOL
