Food Lion ~ Other: Food Lion...you stink!

Okay, so saying FL stinks may be a little harsh, but hear me out.

The in-laws made their monthly trek to NC (where our family moved to 6 years ago) from AL. Yes, they come 650+ miles every month to "visit"...but that's another story...anyway, my father-in-law takes a trip to Food Lion to pick up a few necessities for the mother-in-law, and he come back with a "Free Gallon of Milk" catalina. What? Are you serious? I never get these. He shops there once every 2-3 months, and they give him a free milk catalina. Our family shops there 3-4 times a week.

The lady ahead of me yesterday got one - cashier told me they were printing for about every 10 customers.... So I don't know if it is random, or if it is according to shopping habits or something. He said it will go through June!
He also said there are some other cats printing, I don't remember what.
I got a $5/30 yesterday - I never get those.
So be on the lookout.

I wondered about this thread - after a week of free peanuts, trail mix, cheap tortilla chips, mac and cheese, hamburger/hotdog buns, 8 lb of nearly free deli turkey, free chocolate....FL has my love!

Yesterday A guy handed me a CAT that printed for him $3/$25 (I think) I don't think he realized what a coupon was to me. I would have bought it from him!
I got a $3/$30 good for this week end only.

hahaha dont know about foodlion having my love... but i love this site! Thanx I needed this laugh... I had a very upseting trip last night which really made me have second thoughts about this store.........turns out the evil workers work just before closing and hate coupons! no more night trips.

Sorry about your bad trip yesterday...but I seem to have the opposite at my store in FLorida....my evening shift staff seems a lot nicer than the day shift staff....

Might as well ask my questions here. How do you "clip" (the scissors quote box) when you want to refer to a previous post? (Sorry not the greatest with computers.) Do you just copy and paste?
Also how do you get your profile pic to display? I have one but it doesn't show it. Is there a box that I need to check to show my profile pic?

I usually copy the text I want to quote, paste it in the reply box, then highlight it and click the little yellow button that looks like a talking box above the reply area. I got in the habit of that because you have to do it that way on another board I frequent.

You can also click 'quote' in the bottom right of another person's post and it will appear in the reply box.

Not sure about the profile pic thing...I'm not sure if that's different from an avatar or not. You may be able to figure it out by messing around under your User CP.
