I got this catalina advertisement while picking up some free Twix Bars...

4 products= $1.00
6 products = $1.50
8 products= $2.00
10 products= $2.50
20 products= $ 5.00
40 products= $10.00

The fine print: All Food Lion Brand items are eligible except fresh meat, produce, and random weight deli/bakery items. Coupon expires 2 weeks from date of issue.

Greenville / New Bern, NC, Charleston, SC and Nashville, TN are excluded from the promotion...which is kind of funny since I received this catalina announcement in a Greenville, NC store. :shrug7:

I just got the e-mail with this announcement. At least now if I go to FL and it doesn't print my $10 then I can print out the e-mail and take it to CS and demand my $$$. LOL

Too bad this doesn't start till Wed. I was thinking up some awesome scenarios, such as the following:
3.58 (2 FL Tortilla Chips)
1.98 (2 FL Hotdog/Hamburger buns)
-2.00 FL Tortilla/Chip FLIP
-1.00 FL Hotdog/Hamburger bun FLIP
-1.00 Brand sale
= 1.56 for all

FL Chips would have come to .54 each, and the buns .24.
Then I realized it starts Wednesday :sad:

I'm posting anyway, so we can get fired up! I'm sure there will be lots of good deals, for a whole month!

Does anyone know the price of FL individual yogurts? That's one of the cheapest things I can think of that we would use.

Also, do the Food Lion special brand name line count for this or is it specific to those items that say "Food Lion" on the label? If you go to the FL website "Food Lion" brands have their own category. I'm thinking the "Smart Options" items won't work. Thoughts?

That is a good question. The e-mail only pictures Food Lion Brand, but when you click the link it takes you to a list of all of their brands.

Also, are their canned veggies still going to be $0.69 or does that sale end on Wednesday? I could really use some veggies.

I would assume all FL's private brand items would work, since all the UPC prefix's are the same on all the different brands (Nature's Place, Smart Option, Taste of Inspiration, etc.). It would be hard for their computer to tell the difference, and I doubt they would take the time to code the registers with 2,000+ sku numbers...but you never know. Only way to find out is to try it.

All the better if the other FL house brands are included. I'm sure there are other small items that will be pennies with this deal.
