Just look at the regular price and base your minimum purchase on that. Say you have a $2/$5 produce FLIP. If grapes are 1.99 regular price, and on sale for .99, how many do you need to buy to reach that $5?
$1.99 x 2.52lb = $5.01
Then:
5.01 Pre-MVP price
- 2.49 MVP discount (2.52 x .99, which is the amount of discount MVP gives you)
- 2.00 FLIP
= .52 for 2.52 pounds of grapes
Of course, you can buy more than 2.52 pounds, but the closer you stay to $5.00 pre-MVP, the better your savings.
