The cheese ""is"" on sale for $3.99 so u have to get 2pds and if you do buy it not on sale next week at $5.99 with the flip it makes it $3.99 not $1.99.So its a better deal this week.

I'm taking advantage of this flip. I'm getting 1 1/4 lb. By printing the flips everyone lists we all have several copies of this Q. 1 1/4 today. 1 1/4 lb tomorrow....

Anyone know how it freezes? I ask this b/c I have only froze prepackaged cheese. I hate to mess it up!!

You know you don't have to purchase more than 1lb...the flip goes by the presale price which is $5.99 so if you get slightly under $1 then you are saving more money.

Yesterday I got .66lb cheese
1 italian bread (bogo-$1.89/2)
2.6lb grapes
2 Apple Jacks
my total OOP was $3.71

Yes, the cheese is on sale. But the FLIPs work based on pre-MVP sale price.

So it will look like this:
5.99 (1 lb cheese)
-2.00 MVP
-2.00 FLIP
=1.99 final price for 1 lb

Will I still get the 1.99/1LB price if the MVP card is scanned before the FLIP or at the start of the transaction?Some of the cashiers insist on the MVP card first

The computer doesn't care, so it will work either way...but, this also depends on your cashier. If they are anal about having to have $5 after MVP discount, they may not let you use it.

If this happens, take the coupon back, yell, "Hey, look over there, it's Elvis," then ninja swipe the coupon over the scanner when they're not looking, making sure to cough very loudly when the computer beeps.
