    QUESTION FLIP Limits

I just wanted to ask a question about the limits on FLIPs.

I never try to exceed the limits on a coupon or a sale. Mostly because I'm scared of confrontation, and in case I'm accused of "coupon fraud" (a popular phrase around here), I want to be sure I am right and in the clear.

Of course, I still try to get as much of a great deal as possible. If it's per transaction, I go back in the afternoon and/or the next day. If it's per customer, I send my sister back with the coupons.

But, the FLIP "Limit one print per coupon" has me stumped. For instance...I used the B1G2 Canada dry coupon in December to get my 3 bottles of ginger ale (which I *love*). I used my MVP card (it was a great deal with the combination, $0.39 total!).

Now, I am out of all that ginger ale, but the coupon hasn't expired. I'm not a real regular at my local Food Lion, so it's not as if I think they will remember me. But, maybe my MVP card will "recognize" me, and not give me the deal again?

So...two questions: Does it work to do the same deal twice? And, if so, is it right?

I can't answer your question as I have only used flips a few times, but since you asked about this I thought I'd throw another question in here about them so we can learn more (and both be "coupon scholars" :) ). If it says "one per day" is that different than "one per transaction"? So I would have to go on more than one day to use a second one--not just a different time that day or a different store? TIA

I have several computers and I have gotten several bottles of ginger ale.

    TO ME-
Per day means you can only get one per day from ANY Food lion
Per Transaction means per order (so you could do as many transactions/orders as you wanted).

That is just my take on it.

Thanks for the response--these are still new to me and the wording is different on different ones and the one per day threw me.

    Very well put!

You can print multiple FLIPs on multiple PCs if you have access (friends, family, at work, etc) and then you can use them, just not all at one time. I think uummm has explained the per day and per transaction difference very well but I wanted to add to the multiple print issue.

The wording on the FLIP just refers to the actual printing, it is limited to one print per PC but is NOT tied to your MVP card so you can have more of the same FLIP, as I said, based on how many PCs you are able to print from.

So go get some more free (or cheap) Ginger Ale - yum!

Edited to add - you may discuss printing multiple FLIPs from multiple computers but you may NOT discuss any methods of "getting around" the one print rule on one PC - thanks!

Thanks so much. That was my question exactly. I understand the rules very clearly for bricks (and am fortunate to have access to many computers at the library and such), so I know how to get the coupons I need, and to do it all "above board". Of course, at the library, it's a nickel a page, so I just print the ones I'm going to use, not all willy-nilly!

I think I'll go ahead and do the deal again. It's not like I'm reselling the product, or even "stocking up", really. I've just run out of ginger ale, and because of their store offer, I'm choosing to buy it at Food Lion. Seems reasonable....
