I had a FL manager refuse two coupons on a B1G1 free and the reason they gave was that the items were not being rung up at half price. (like they do at all other store chains, and what I was used to, which was the reason I thought I might be able to use 2 coupons)
So, in the case of the oatmeal, 2 for $5 would allow two coupons. But if it was $3.16 and B1G1 free only 1 coupon would be allowed. But, YMMV has gotten me different results at different FL stores.

I have a Buy 3 Tombstone Pizzas get $1.50 off Cheerwine Q.

I also $2 off Frozen Pizza Q's ( courtesy of Miller )

You should be able too...
the $1.50 is off the cheerwine and $2 is off pizza...

It is no different than using a bogo coupon for 2 items and using another coupon on the one item you are paying for.

I just used the $1/2 Serria Mist coupon and BOGO TP coupons. I bought 8 Cranberry Splash SM, used 2 $1/2 peelies and 4 bogo TP coupons. The last BOGO Q beeped but they did a M/O....

Would I BOGO with the coupon and then get a 3rd that would be free with the sale?
So buy 1 get 2 free?

This will depend on the cashier/CS/manager - some stores will give you the full price - therefore you will get both items for free - the sale "pays" for one the the coupon "pays" for the other. Other stores will give you the half-price for the coupon so you get both items for half the price of one. I have not ever tried buying 1 and getting 2 for free so I'm not sure if they would allow that or not.

So, let's say you have an item that regularly costs $1 but is on sale b1g1f:

Scenario 1:
2 items = $2
minus sale price - $1
minus coupon at full price - $1
both items are free

Scenario 2:
2 items = $2
minus sale price - $1
minus coupon at half-price - .50
both items for .50

I hope that all makes sense.

I'm sorry you're not having a good experience...I rarely shop Food Lion because I don't like any of the 3 Cary stores near me but the one on Kildaire has been the best! Of course, I've been there a handful of times...
