Food Lion ~ Question: Does your FL double coupons?

No, there are no limits. I bought 17 boxes of Beech Nut Cereal at 4 cents/box after coupon the other week (for donation). PP is right in that you have to make sure the coupon doesn't say one per customer or transaction.

Also, HT will take more than 3 like coupons, they just won't double them after the third one.

My Food Lion's computers are programmed to only accept 2 of the same coupon. It beeps and says duplicate coupon for more than 2 of the same coupon. Then, it is YMMV for a cashier to push it through. I have found in my area most will not. I just do multiple seperate transations with 2 coupons at a time.

Does FL stack store/manf coupons? I tried buying 4 boxes of 3/$5 fruit snacks a few days ago with 2 .50/2 manf q's and a .75/3 FL catalina, but the cat beeped and the coupon **** lady was checking me out, so no luck there!

The Catalinas are manufacturer coupons so that is not allowed at any store. However, Food Lion also does not allow stacking of their FLIPS with manufacturer coupons.

Ok, first: The catalina that you are talking about was a manufacturer coupon which is why it did not go through. Usually catalinas will say at the top next to the expiration date whether or not it is a store Q or a manf Q.

Second, Food Lion Internet Printables (FLIPs) can not be stacked with manf Qs. You have to choose either/or.

Lastly, no store/manf Qs can be combined unless neither coupon excludes it. So more often than not you will have to choose either/or b/c almost all FL store coupons say that they can not be combined. However, sometimes a catalina store coupon does not have this wording so it is ok to combine those.

I have only seen this at the self checkout, I have not had the problem at a regular register. And I have definitely been buying the no worries drink mix more than 2 at a time lately.

Yep, same here - self checkout does limit you to two like coupons but if I have more than 2, I just go through a register and have not had a problem.

That explains why my multiple Coke coupons beeped at self checkout once. Thanks for the clarification. The cashier tried to tell me it was because they said "one per purchase."
