Bottom Dollar Shoppers

Hi! Bit of a newbie here. I've been shopping at FL for awhile and recently discovered Bottom Dollar.

Can you use FLIPs there? And do they accept manufacturers coupons? Even without coupons they still cut my bill in half when compared to FL w/out coupons. But that would be even better if they do accept any coupons.

I just spoke with FL corporate and was told that you can use FLIPs at Bottom Dollar. She said the only time they don't accept coupons is during certain promotions (not sure which ones, but you can ask at the store I guess?) I don't have a bottom dollar near me so I am sorry I couldn't be more specific in my questions.

I am hoping there is someone else on here that can answer for me!

Yes, Bottom Dollar will accept FLIP's, but Food Lion will not accept any coupons that Bottom Dollar issues, including Catalina's.

I have been using my FLIP's there during the nice 20 for $10 sale in the past and got loads of ketchup for free, along with other items.

**I think the certain promo's they are referring to are the Milk ticket promo's, the Easter promo, the ones where you make "X" number of purchases between dates at Food Lion~~~those do not apply to Bottom Dollar**

I've been dropping into Bottom Dollar on my way home for a few weeks now. I now know that mine will accept man qs, internet qs, and Food Lion FLIPs. They do accept coupons for free items as well. I assume their coupon policy is the same as FL.

Some things I noticed about the prices at Bottom Dollar: They are a bit cheaper than FL on non-sale prices. They always have cheaper produce and dairy. Some meats are cheaper (I got FL ground turkey for $1.89 a lb yesterday but chicken was expensive, I wanna say in the $3 a lb range). But when FL has sales, FL is always cheaper. So I've taken to writing down the sale prices of stuff I'm looking for from the FL weekly ad and taking it with me to BD. I buy from whomever is the cheapest.

BD also has a limited selection of most products. Maybe mine is small, but they don't carry a wide range of brands, so man qs aren't as helpful while FLIPs are extremely helpful because they do carry a lot of FL brand.

Bottom Dollar Food

I get the sale flyers in the mail every Wednesday along with the Food Lion flyer...so I can compare right there and check the FLIP's against the ad.

I tried using my FLIPs at our Bottom Dollar a few months ago and they would not take them! They were actually rude so I stopped going there. But, I guess I can try another one. Thanks for the info!

Call corporate and they will straighten them out!
