I'm totally confused. The Flip is for english muffins, the bogo sale is English muffins, how does that make cheap bagels?

The thomas english muffins are on sale buy one get one free.
It will ring up as 1.49 (half of full price)
the flip is for $1 off any Thomas english muffins.

So that makes them .49 cents after the flip!

Does this make sense or did i confuse you more?
