Chef Boyardee, assorted, are on sale for $0.78 ea.
In the Norfolk area our coupon was for $0.35/3, making them $0.66 ea, a reasonably good deal. (and especially nice with teenagers home for the summer) Plus if you are shopping at a FF with a gas station, you'll get gas discount points. (1 cent)

The Ragu pouches are also on sale for $1.
$0.75/1 5/18 RP makes them $0.25
Gas points with these as well. (2 cents)

My kids love the Super Chill soda, the 6-packs are on sale for $0.88 each, which is a good deal. My son bought 3 cases, which *ought* to last him a while.

Hamburger is on sale for 98 cents a pound. Not as great as the 89 cents it was 5 or 6 weeks ago, but that was a rare deal.

That was pretty much it for me this week.

I wish would they have the lean hamburger meat on sale :(
It is like 26% fat the .98 Cent Ground Beef even. I bought some and made some hamburgers for the BBQ. Not too bad but greasy! Guess if you are having a large cookout though it will come in handy for that price.

I almost never make patties out of the cheap stuff (I prefer the frozen patties at Sam's Club, which are $16.86 for 10 pounds). I use it for meatloaves, meatballs, and boil it and bag it for use in casseroles (boiling it really takes the fat out). To help diminish the fat in the meatloaves, I make individual meatloaves and cook them in a larger pan so they aren't swimming in their own fat.
