$3/3 Chunky Soup Coupon Question

Fareway has a $3/3 Chunky soups. It says you must buy 3 to get the deal. And it say Limit 3 at the bottom of the coupon. Can you please clarify if the limit 3 mean I can only buy 3 soups or I can only buy 9 soups? Thank you!

Hey stacey . . . It means that you will have to buy 3, no more no less. To get around this my checker may do 3 transaction to get the 9 you talked about. Depends on the checker. im from Sioux city and I've found that evening checkers (younger people) are more willing to do it than say the morning checkers.

I tried price matching at Walmart. They honored the $3/3 price on 3 only. And they clipped the add coupon out. They said the limit on 3 was for three soups and that I could not get 9. It was frustrating because I didn't know if I was reading it wrong or not. (get 3 vs being able to get 9) Anywho, there were people behind me, so I got 3 at $1 each. Then I got 6 for 2/$3. And the made me pay full price for the final one because it the ad had 2/$3, not 1/$1.50. :(
