I love Wednesday mornings. I get up early to check out the online ad for Fareway!

I did notice a couple of other good sales in our local circular:

Quaker Oatmeals (Old Fashioned, Quick, or Instant) - $2.49 (almost $.50 cheaper than WalMart price)
Paseo Bath Tissue, 24 pk. - $6.99 (there are various $1.00/1 q's out there)
Green, Red, and Romain Lettuce - $.99 (This is awesome! Can't find for less than $1.50 anywhere else.)
Value pack chix drumsticks, 6 lb. or larger - $.88/lb (Another awesome buy! We grill until it snows!)
93% lean ground beef (10 lb. tube) - $2.79/lb...smaller pks $2.99/lb (beats HyVee price by at least $1.00)

There's not a lot of items to use coupons on, but there are still some good buys!

does your ad start on wed? Ours is Tues. I usually look at the ad Monday night just after midnight (tues. technically) it is posted on their website then.

You know...I think it is Tuesday. I don't get the ads from the Register until Wednesday so I never pay attention to them until then. Hmmm...guess I'll have to start checking the website on Tuesday mornings! Thanks for the reminder!

Our ad doesn't start until Wed. Same with HyVee here. Our green grapes are on sale for $1.49 not .99

But, we did have the cheese Q and the Ore Ida Q. I was happy about those.

Fareway has regional ads...so what is on sale at my store may be different than yours...a lot of the "hot" buys will be the same though. I post off my area ad...which is the Cedar Rapids/Marion area. hth
