Is This A Good Deal?

Hi I have coupons for $0.50/1 Paseo paper product (excludes the single roll bath tissue), well Fareway carries this brand of product and has Paseo single rolls of paper towels for $0.88 a roll. What I'm trying to figure out is this a good deal on paper towels or should I wait for the next good coupon/and or sale?
Paseo Single Roll Paper Towels= $0.88
Taxes (where I live is 7c on the dollar) so:
$0.88*0.07=0.06
$0.88+0.06=$0.94
$0.94-$0.50 coupon=$0.44

So For everybody here is $0.44 a roll a good deal or not? Please help!!!! I can almost never find good deals on this or toilet paper need all the help I can get :) TIA.

Hey! Not sure where in Iowa you are, but I know WalMarts around here don't sell that brand. And around here, WalMart is the cheapest place to get paper products - unless HyVee, Fareway, or Dahls has a sale. If you like it then by all means...get it!

Personally, I try NOT to pay more than $1.00 on paper products (single roll or 4 roll packs). I think it's a great deal! Heck, if I used that brand and had those q's, I'd be at Fareway tonight!

.44 a roll is a good price to me.......i aim for no more than about .70 a roll around here

well i went to fareway. I got 10 single rolls of paper towels $9.42 before coupons and after coupons only $4.42 oop. I didn't clear the shelf, as the shelf was full and I left at least 10 of them on the shelf. I have alot of these q's and since they don't expire until 8/31 when I get low I know where to get a good deal unless it goes on sale somewhere else for cheaper before that. Thanks for your thoughts. I think this is the first real good deal I've gotten on paper towels, around here nobody doubles so unless it's a real high value coupon on any can't really get paper products for FREE, but I'm satisfied with a savings of 46.92%.

I feel your pain...Freds dollar is the only store in my town that doubles and thats only on Saturday up to .75 and only one of like coupons. I can drive 30 minutes one way to kroger which doubles and I do go there if the sales and the coupons work out so I can make it worth my time.

I actually found these at the Fareway store closest to my house on Saturday! There were only 2 on the shelf but the manager said that $.88 is their normal price and they would be getting more in stock today. Thanks for the heads up on this. I think $.38/roll is awesome for paper towels!
