All Fareway's run a little differently. I thought it would be fun to see any differences in policies. You may be surprised, you may learn something new about your store from another shopper!

I'll start

1) City/State - Manchester, Iowa

2) Coupon policy? Does not double, has no limit on like coupons

3) Accepts printables? Yes, but not printables for a completely FREE item. Any amount over $2 or BOGO IP's must be cleared with the manufacturer before it is accepted.

4) Allow a store coupon/manufacturer coupon stack? Yes

5) Price Match? Only local ads - must bring ad in!

6) Other notes? The ad runs from Tuesday through Monday, there are never special weekend sales ran except for corporate wide, tearpads are usually just set on the shelf next to the item, markdowns are made right away in the morning (produce & dairy markdowns are kept in their cases, nonperishable markdowns in a cart in the back corner, meat markdowns in the refrigerator case closest to the meat counter by the hams)

5) Price Match? Only local ads - must bring ad in! (or sometimes our store just marks w/ a sign in front of the item on the shelf...usaully to match HyVee sales)

The ad runs from Tuesday through Monday, there are never special weekend sales ran except for corporate wide, tearpads are usually attached to the shelf in front of the item, markdowns are made right away in the morning (produce & dairy markdowns are kept in their cases, nonperishable & produce markdowns on a cart/countertop area near can dedemption area , meat markdowns in the refrigerator case closest to the meat (lunch meat area) or in the meat case.

5) Price Match? Only local grocery ads - must bring ad in! I have requested them to ad match Hy-Vee Drugstore before and they wouldn't do it...only grocery stores. (usually our store just marks w/ a sign in front of the item on the shelf to match HyVee sales)

The ad runs from Tuesday through Monday, they are starting to do more special weekend sales, tearpads are usually attached to the shelf in front of the item, markdowns are made right away in the morning (produce & dairy markdowns are kept in their cases, nonperishable & produce markdowns on a cart/countertop area near can dedemption area , meat markdowns in the refrigerator case closest to the meat (lunch meat area) or in the meat case.

5) Price Match? They do this automatically, whatever is in Hyvee's ad, is automatically price matched . Other than that I haven't ever tried because HyVee is really the only other store in town. There is one other store, but they don't count.

6) Other notes Our ad runs Wed-Tue, which seems to be different than most of you.

2) Coupon policy? (Doubles, limit of like coupons, etc) No doubles, no limits on amount of q's

3) Accepts printables? Yes but only if they scan, no free

4) Allows a store/manufacturer coupon stack? Yes

5) Price Match? Hyvee is the only other store and it is already matched by Fareway.

6) Other notes Ad runs Tuesday to Monday. My Fareway does not allow using q's off one item and wyb at the same time~ exp $1/2 jars of Ragu could not be used with Free pasta wyb 2 Ragu. They also do not allow overage and will adjust all q's down.

Thanks for all the great responses so far - it's helpful to see how stores differ from one another - and you may also learn of things that other stores do which yours may also that you didn't know about.

5) Price Match? YES! And we have a price-match lady that does the quad cities' Fareways. She goes to each of the stores and programs in all the price match each Tuesday afternoon (our ads switch on Weds). It is AWEsome! And if she misses something, they will usually just match it anyway.

6) Other notes? Tearpads everywhere, scratch and dent outrageously discounted, and ugly produce marked down to next to nothing.
