anybody getting price match for the HyVee 6 hr. sale?

just wondering if fareway is price matching the HyVee 6 hr. sale today.??

I considered it, but haven't tried it. I don't see why they wouldn't PM. OMG, did you go to Hy-Vee? My IRL best friend lives over by the one on Johnson Avenue which is where I think you live also, and she said it was an absolute zoo. I went to Marion and it was pretty bad.

yes- Fareway was price matching- I was in and out in 15 min.- really only wanted the milk and chicken, but since it wasn't total craziness @ fareway- I got the deli ham, bread and bananas too.

and yes- I do shop Johnson Ave HV- but only for sale items- I find their prices to be rather high otherwise. and yes- She was right- Johnson Ave. was nuts! there were cars parked 2 blocks away this AM- no way- glad fareway price matched!

The Ottumwa store did price match all but the Cheese. So I had to go to Hy-Vee for that. If I didn't need it I would have blown it off. No place to park it looked like Black Friday.

I wish I would have thought to do that. Burlington was a zoo as well. The sad part was I ended up at Fareway later that night. Of course they were out of most of their sale items I wanted. That's my frustration with them.
