As toddlers...baby gates and every child proofing device you can think of! Twins can help each other into mischief better than a single baby. My twins are creative. Carly tells Laim "Lay down" and then she stands on him and climbs over the gate then pulls him over it. She devised this method at about 18 months old. LOL[/QUOTE]
This is so true, and I'm sure It will only get worse as my girls get older.
I have 16 month old fraternal twin girls. By biggest advice...
-Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it. I'm only 5'4" and I carried my girls to 38 weeks. They were 6lbs7oz and 6lbs9oz. My girls are also still breastfeeding at 16 months.
-Get a good doulble stroller, you'll need it.
-Join your local twins club. They have great resales twice a year. That's where I get most of my kids clothes.
-Don't worry about not being able to tell them apart. I was so afraid of that when I was pregnant. Now they can both be sleeping in the other room and one will start to fuss and I can tell you who it is before I go in there.
-Start buying diapers now when you can get them at a good price. Wipes too.
-Take as many pictures as you can when they're babies. I honestly don't remember most of my twins first year.
