so i should also add that i was 17.5 when i got prego with my son using condoms, and then at 19.5 on birthcontrol with my daughter.....but still 17 and 7 kids????? i cant imagine a "childs" body is capable of safely carrying that many children but wow, kids i knew in high school had twins at my age, but 7???? education should be given, not just housing and land, she should have to work and im sory but at what point is too many children too many???(sorry if this invokes others, i do have a fascination with large families and the quiver movement is a curriosityas well) but come on, its one thing to have that many children and be able to be self sufficiant, and its a whole nuther thing for having that many kids and being a welfare mom with that many kids
again im sorry if this invokes anyone but come on? parents? are they there? social services are supposed to HELP people get a STEP UP not a HAND OUT

From the article, it SOUNDS like they (the family as a whole) are making a choice to have more children to continue to gain assistance.

From my gut, it SEEMS like there is something going on, that the CHILD has no control over. (rape, "arranged marriage/parenthood" type thing)

From my heart, I PRAY that those litle babies are taken care of, that they don't become statistics.

That said, I was watching a TLC series of shows, about large families, and there is a family, with 18 children, under the age of like 22. They mom and dad basically give birth, get pregnant, rinse and repeat!
Now I will say that the family is VERY self sufficient, and aside from help from TLC (given I assume as part "payment" for them doing the shows) They don't seem to get "help" from the gov't, the mom does coupon, and does very good at shopping. They wear hand-me-downs, and the mom/girls make clothing.

The Duggars from Arkansas. She is a SAHM and dad works, she also home schools all her kids.

Their philosphy is if we can't afford it, we don't buy it.
Also they see their kids as a gift from God. 18 gifts from God.

IMO, when OP offered this article she wanted to point our attention to the fact this girl has much active then regular ovaries, 2 sets of triplets in a row is not an everyday thing, especially at her young age.
Why the girl started having sex AND keep giving birth at early age, no one knows but all can only speculate...

There have been some real questions raised as to whether or not they actually receive government assistance or not (the sentiment is that they do, but I don't want to get into that here). And I don't think Michelle Duggar coupons

There was a Maryland woman (or somewhere local to here) where a woman had a set of triplets, and 2 sets of twins. Its always interesting when its a natural occurrence! I'd like to know if they're all fraternal, or if any of them are identical...

It really is terrible that this girl had children so young, but WOW! Two sets of naturally occuring triplets in two years?! That is crazy. The chances of that must be astronomical.

Hmmm... there was a lady in the late 1800's who had three sets of triplets with two different men. No fertility treatment there!

Looked around on the internet and found the the chances of having two consecutive sets of triplets is 1 in 64 million.

The same thing happened to a couple in Cincinnati, Ohio.
